Three Shadows Gallery

As an exciting new destination for contemporary visual arts with an emphasis on photography, the Three Shadows Xiamen Photography Arts Centre offers a platform for promoting and exhibiting the work of both established and emerging talent. The centre also brings comprehensive working resources for the creation of new work including digital and traditional darkrooms, a framing workshop, lecture rooms, and an arts cafe.
The challenge was to create a cultural oasis within an existing office building and a largely commercial environment in the heart of Ji Mei New Town. Maximum flexibility is inherent in the design allowing the display of traditional prints and multimedia art work.
